Aldi Christmas advent calenders hit shelves around Australia

Aldi advent calendars are returning to shelves as the countdown to Christmas begins.

The supermarket chain has announced the relaunch of its highly anticipated yearly advent calendars, which will come in nine different varieties suited to adults and children alike.

Fans of Aldi’s cult Lacura skincare products, which has been likened to pricey cosmetic brand La Prairie, will be overjoyed at the launch of the brand’s Skin Science 12 Days of Caviar Illumination advent calendar, retailing for $29.99.

The 12-day gift set will include skin care products tailored for both day and night skin care routines.

For jewellery lovers, there will also be a stunning Swarovski advent calendar for $19.99, which includes a bracelet and 12 charms.

Fragrance fanatics will rejoice at the $34.99 Scents of the Season calendar, which will feature holiday scents such as Christmas pudding and festive spices.

Tea lovers can indulge in 12 days of Pukka tea, with a different flavour for each day.

Caffeine addicts will be able to get their daily dose with a L’Or coffee capsule advent calendar, which features a unique blend for every morning over the 12 days of Christmas.

Kids can enjoy the $6.99 Aldi’s Elf on the Shelf advent calendar, which has a surprise in each window over 12 days, featuring a mini elf figurine or candy rainbow drops.

Children who love reading will adore the $18.99 storybook advent calendar, with one exciting book for each day.

Sweet-toothed kids can also indulge in either a $3.99 milk chocolate advent calendar, which will come in a Paw Patrol, Hot Wheels, or Barbie theme.

They can also enjoy a Chupa Chups lollipop calendar, which features 12 different flavours to try.

“The countdown to Christmas has officially begun and what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than opening your advent calendar and finding out what gift you will be surprised with that day,” said Aldi shopping expert, Kylie Warnke.

“From Swarovski crystal charms and unique coffee blends to storybook collections and Elf on the Shelf surprises, there really is a calendar for everyone in this year’s range.”

With the range yet to be officially launched, Aldi fans on Facebook have been speculating over what advent calenders the supermarket will have on offer this year.

“I can’t wait to see what they come out with this year,” one said.

“Advent calendars are one of the best parts of Christmas.”

“Does anyone know when the advent calenders will be hitting shelves?” asked another.

“Really excited to get my hands on some.”

The advent calendars will be available in Aldi stores from the 19th of October 2022 as part of their special buys range.
