Pink Australian tour: Singer playing stadiums in 2024

Pink has announced she’ll embark on her first-ever Australian stadium tour in early 2024.

The singer has been one of this country’s most popular touring acts over the past 20 years, completing multiple exhaustive arena tours, each with dozens of shows – her 2009 Funhouse tour broke the record for the biggest tour in the country’s history, with more than 660,000 people attending.

But she’s never played stadiums in this country – until now.

The star’s Summer Carnival 2024 will commence in Sydney at Allianz Stadium on February 9 next year, followed by Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium on February 13, Suncorp Stadium Brisbane on February 16, Metricon Stadium Gold Coast on February 20, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on February 23, Adelaide Oval on February 27, and finishing up at Perth’s Optus Stadium on March 1. Support acts are yet to be announced.

By the time the shows take place, it will have been almost six years since Pink last toured this country, on her 2018 Beautiful Trauma tour.

“I am so excited to finally get a chance to tour Australia and New Zealand in the summer!! I can’t wait to bring the Summer Carnival Tour to my home away from home, and smile and sing together until our cheeks hurt. Summer 2024 can’t come soon enough!” Pink said in a statement released today.

The tour announcement comes a week before the release of Pink’s ninth studio album, Trustfall. The album’s lead single Never Gonna Not Dance Again has been a rare Australian chart miss in this country, peaking at number 64 on the ARIA charts, however follow-up single Trustfall – a collaboration with so-hot-right-now dance producer Fred Again … – is currently racing up the charts.
