Parramatta Eels star Dylan Brown allegedly touched woman without consent

A high profile NRL star has been charged with sexual touching after an alleged incident at a Sydney hotel.

Parramatta Eels star Dylan Brown is accused of touching a woman without her consent at the Golden Sheaf, in Double Bay in Sydney’s east, about 11.40pm Saturday.

NSW Police said officers arrested the 22-year-old and he was later taken to Waverley Police Station.

He was then charged with five counts of sexually touching another person without consent.

Brown was granted bail and will face the charges at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday.

The Eels have since put out a statement, saying the club was aware of the incident and had advised the NRL Integrity Unit.

“As it is a police matter, the club will not be making further comment at this time,” the club said.

Brown, who was born in New Zealand, has played 95 games for the Eels since making his debut with the team in 2019 when he was just 18.
