A delivery driver has been sprung stealing a package he had only just dropped off at an address in Melbourne.
The man had delivered a box from gourmet food service Providoor and left the address, before returning approximately 20 minutes later to nick the package from the front door.
Little did he know a CCTV camera at the front of the house had recorded the whole affair, with footage shared to Melbourne radio station 3AW showing his unusual theft attempt.
The man can be seen peering closely through a front window and looking around the front of the house on his first visit.
On his second, he is seen walking up the driveway and calmly plucking the package to take with him.
The victims, a couple who both had Covid, told 3AW they had ordered the Providoor box to celebrate an anniversary while they were in isolation.
