South Australia: Police allege woman found with stolen Lego and ice pipes

A woman will face court after police allege they found 11 boxes of Lego in her car

Just after midnight on Friday, SA Police patrols spotted a black BMW travelling along Regency Road in Prospect.

Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, with the car eventually coming to a stop on Charles Street before a man allegedly ran from the driver’s seat.

Police spoke to the woman in the car who was at that time in the driver’s seat.

They then searched the vehicle and located two ice pipes, a bank card believed to be stolen and 11 brand new sets of Lego in a garden waste bag.

The 35-year-old woman from Kilburn was reported for failing to truly answer questions to identify the driver of the car.

She was also reported for unlawful possession over the Lego and possessing equipment for the ice pipes.

She will appear in court over the matter at a later date.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
