Jetstar and Qantas have announced a massive sale with flights for as little as $39 to Aussie hotspots including Byron Bay.
If you have been itching for a getaway, now would be the time with Jetstar unveiling a bunch of cheap flights to popular national and international destinations.
Those keen to keep it local can head to the Sunshine Coast and Ballina Bryon from Sydney for just $39 each and the Gold Coast from $42.
Travellers can choose to fly to the Spiritual Heart of Australia, Uluru, or the Territory’s vibrant tropical capital, Darwin.
Headline deals include Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Uluru direct from $84, Sydney to Uluru direct from $99, Brisbane to Darwin direct from $89 and Adelaide to Darwin direct from $119.
The offers apply to select fares and travel periods between May and June 2023, coinciding with a massive range of unique events, experiences and road trip adventures across the NT’s Top End and Red Centre.
Sydneysiders keen to get to Melbourne are looking at $39 to Avalon, or for a few dollars more, to Tullamarine from $54.
There’s also flights to Cairns from $94. But if you prefer to get out of the country there’s flights starting from $209 from Sydney to Phuket, Thailand.
Bali is also included in the sale with seats starting from $199. If you prefer heading a bit further out there’s $219 flights to Honolulu, Hawaii and even Seoul in South Korea from just $375.
It’s important to note fare prices are for one way and must be used within a certain time period depending on the location.
The sale ends on Saturday, February 25 at 11.59pm AEDT, unless sold out prior.
Qantas sale
Qantas is also on sale with fares from $99. The sale fares are on average 30 per cent lower than Qantas’ normal lead-in fares.
Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce said the sale would help travellers plan ahead for their next holiday or business trip.
“We’re seeing really strong demand as Australians continue to put travel at the top of their shopping list,” Mr Joyce said.
“We’ve been adding new routes to help meet that demand, especially to leisure destinations, and we’ve put a lot of sales into the market.
“Today we’re putting more than one million seats on sale, with discounted flights to almost every city and regional town in our network across Australia, and some great international destinations with Jetstar.”
He said it’s the ninth network-wide sale from Qantas and Jetstar in the past six months.
