Police are appealing for public information after a driver involved in a hit and run fled the scene, leaving a teenager in critical condition.
Just before midnight on Friday, an 18-year-old Arana Hills man was walking across South Pine Road in Eatons Hill when he was hit by a car.
The vehicle left the scene after hitting him.
Members of the public found the man and contacted emergency services and he was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
Initial investigations lead police to believe the car involved is a black Kia Rio missing a left side mirror.
Queensland Police are appealing for the driver to come forward.
Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the Eatons Hill area is urged to contact police.
The investigation is ongoing.
