Tennis 2023: Martin Fucsovics’ insane rig leaves Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle stunned at Indian Wells

Hungarian hulk Marton Fucsovics may have been knocked out of Indian Wells on Wednesday (AEDT), but his insane rig has once again left the tennis world in awe.

Fucsovics lost his third round match to defending champion Taylor Fritz 6-4 6-3, but he still earned plenty of admirers.

Midway through the second set, the 31-year-old changed his shirt, revealing his seriously chiselled physique.

Cheers immediately went up in the stadium and the camera panned to several female spectators in the crowd who were enjoying the outfit change.

One of those was Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle, who was sitting in the player’s box smiling.

As the camera cut to her, Riddle broke into laughter and raised her hand as if to acknowledge she had been caught red handed ogling her boyfriend’s opponent.

The influencer could see the funny side, joking on Twitter after the match: “This was a targeted attack.”

Fritz closed out the match in straight sets, keeping his dream of defending his Indian Wells title alive.

It’s not the first time Fucsovics has turned heads in the tennis world this year.

At the Australian Open in January, he celebrated a tough first round win over Federico Coria by ripping off his shirt and showing off his insane figure that would make bodybuilders jealous.

The world No. 84 looks like he could be a body double for Chris Hemsworth.

Elsewhere at Indian Wells, Daniil Medvedev shook off an ankle concern to defeat Alexander Zverev 6-7 7-6 7-5 to reach the quarterfinals for the first time.

In early matches, 2021 champion Cameron Norrie of Britain eased past seventh-ranked Russian Andrey Rublev 6-2, 6-4.

Sixth-seeded American Coco Gauff got past Swedish qualifier Rebecca Peterson 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 and seventh-seeded Maria Sakkari — runner-up to Swiatek last year — beat Karolina Pliskova 6-4, 5-7, 6-3.

Women’s world No. 1 Iga Swiatek, trying to become just the second woman after Martina Navratilova in 1990-91 to win back-to-back Indian Wells titles, faced 2021 US Open winner Emma Raducanu.
