Detectives are hunting for answers after a string of ram raids on businesses in Queensland that happened in one night.
Police believe the destructive break and enters that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning in Rockhampton are connected.
The spree began at 3.25am when a light-coloured station wagon was used to ram the AFS Pharmacy on Dean Street in Frenchville.
Despite extensive damage being caused to the business, nothing was stolen and the vehicle drove off.
Then just 15 minutes later a stolen silver Holden Acadia was “deliberately driven” into the front door of a bottle shop on nearby Farm Street.
The back of the vehicle can be seen on CCTV smashing through the shop front and knocking over hundreds of bottles of alcohol before a man jumps out of the car and heads toward the cash registers.
Police say bottles of alcohol as well as two tills were stolen before the offenders fled the scene in another vehicle, believed to be a white hatchback.
The stolen Holden Arcadia was left at the scene.
It was stolen from a Mills Ave, Frenchville address on April 14 and has been towed for police forensic examination.
Police believe the two incidents may be linked and have urged anyone with information or relevant video to contact police.
