Jennifer Lawrence’s recent tear-inducing interview on Hot Ones made headlines as fans watched in awe and empathetic pain while Lawrence powered through the challenge of eating ten tremendously spicy chicken wings.
However, soon after she blew viewers away, she was blowing chunks in her toilet. And by soon after, we’re talking a whopping eight minutes after.
Lawrence confessed her sorry tale to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live after he smoothly prompted her to share the story that she had told him privately in between takes.
“I passionately threw up after. Violently,” she told Cohen.
When he asked Lawrence if she made it home from filming Hot Ones, she explained that the interview took place at the Four Seasons hotel where a press event was being held for her new movie No Hard Feelings. Lawrence shared that this allowed her a place, specifically her “holding suite,” to retreat to do the deed.
“My stomach gave me, like, eight minutes to get upstairs and then she …. She…,” Lawrence recounted, personifying her stomach and shaking her head as she laughed recalling the moment.
Her interview on Hot Ones, hosted by Sean Evans, featured Lawrence receiving the spiciest hot sauce, “Da Bomb Insanity Hot Sauce,” on the eighth wing. During the interview, Lawrence exclaimed, “I feel like I’m gonna die!” She then followed up with the question, “Have you ever had anybody act like this?” to which Evans replied, “Every Hot Ones shoot is a uniquely singular experience.”
He continued, “As crazy as it gets on here, I have always seen something crazier.”
Both of Lawrence’s interviews on Hot Ones and on WWHL featured spicy spectacles, as she ended up kissing Cohen on the after-show.
When the cameras returned from the commercial break, the two were “negotiating a kiss,” according to Cohen, with Lawrence admitting she felt a little jealous of another guest the host had smooched.
“I just feel like you kissed John Mayer but you’ve never kissed me. He’s more your type, I guess,” she joked, to which Cohen, who is gay, replied, “I mean, he is. But I am attracted to you. Yeah, I mean … I’d love to kiss you. Consensually.”
Following both parties’ consent and an awkward pause, Cohen and Lawrence leaned into one another and locked lips on air, leaving the Oscar-winning actress to ask, “Did it do anything? Did it move?” referring to Cohen’s, well, you know.
“I’m hard as a rock,” he quipped. “I’m bone hard.”
