Robert Irwin and his girlfriend Rorie Buckey have shared a sweet update as they enjoy a holiday together.
The couple have been linked since November last year. They became Instagram official in August — a huge relationship milestone for a young couple — after first going public with their relationship at the Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One premiere in July.
Since, then, they’ve delighted fans with frequent sneak peeks via social media.
Last weekend, Buckey, 19, shared a series of picturesque snaps from a romantic getaway to Tasmania.
“Tasmania!!” she captioned the photos, including one of herself and Irwin posing under a stunning cherry blossom tree.
Irwin, also 19, commented on the post, writing: “Amazing trip”.
Irwin’s mum, Terri, wrote, “such a beautiful couple in my favourite place on Earth!” while older sister Bindi said: “Spectacular”.
Buckey’s family also got in on the fun, with her twin sister Scarlett adding: “Love you guys”.
Buckey’s 27,000 followers ate up the snaps, with one user commenting, “you are living the dream girly”.
“Cutest couple ever, hope you enjoyed Tasmania,” added another fan.
Buckey, who is the niece of the late Aussie actor Heath Ledger, currently lives with her family in Perth.
She and Irwin have been spotted at airport terminals several times this year as they continue their long-distance relationship.
Back in May, it was Irwin’s turn to visit Buckey and she welcomed him with a hug when he landed in Perth.
Then in July, the couple was spotted at Brisbane Airport in Irwin’s home state.
Like the Irwins, Buckey is extremely close to her family and has a special place in her heart for her famous late uncle.
“Heath is hugely important in the lives of my children,” her mother, Kate, told Who magazine in 2018.
“There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t share stories or talk about him. He is very much alive in our house.”
