An Australian man was pulled off a plane in the Philippines by police after he slapped a passenger, which sparked a dramatic punch up down the aisle.
As officers took him away he appeared to challenge another flyer for a “one-on-one” on the tarmac.
The man, who began his journey in Perth, allegedly insulted other passengers and “demanded drinks” from the flight crew.
Shocking video recorded by flyers on the Scoot flight caught the fracas and the ensuing screams from other travellers.
The drama began when the man boarded a flight from Perth to Singapore but escalated when he transferred in Singapore to Scoot flight TR396 to the Philippines capital.
A person who was on both flights with the Australian told the West Australian newspaper he was already causing a stir on the Singapore leg.
According to the passenger, the Aussie had been on a verbal tirade for “hours” on the flight to Manila.
“He was loud and rowdy so we moved seats,” she said.
‘All kicked off’
As the flight landed, the passenger appeared to confront a man who was filming him.
“The (Australian) slapped him real hard and then it all kicked off,” the witness said.
The slap was so forceful, the other passenger’s cap can be seen flying off.
This passenger then swooped into the aisle and the pair grappled, as another person can be heard screaming “stop fighting”.
“As soon as he was down, a couple of other guys were kicking him on the ground,” the witness said.
“The flight attendants were stressing out. A couple of the guys and flight attendants zip-tied his arms and legs together and they waited for the police to come.”
Multiple videos were published by the West Australian from the plane.
As the Australian was being led away he can be heard saying “Get me out there for one-on-ones”.
It’s not known if the man faces any charges in the Philippines. It’s also not fully known what events or interactions occurred prior to the conflict between the two men.

In recent months there have been several incidents of bad behaviour on flights involving Australian.
In October, A Queensland woman allegedly became “disorderly and abusive” while on a flight to Melbourne.
The flight’s captain asked cabin crew and two passengers, who were off-duty first responders, to restrain the 44-year-old from Mareeba.
“It will be alleged the woman was consuming her own supply of alcohol on board and became disorderly and abusive towards passengers and cabin crew,” and Australian Federal Police spokesman said.
In July, police removed three men from a plane bound for Bali after an alleged drunken altercation.
AFP officers were called to Darwin Airport after a Virgin Australia plane from Brisbane to Denpasar was forced to land early.
Police alleged the captain diverted the plane after the trio refused to move from their exit row seats when staff realised they were drunk.
After eventually moving, the group allegedly became more disruptive, drinking duty-free alcohol they had brought on board while one of the men was allegedly seen vaping in his seat.
The men are facing fines after they allegedly became increasingly disruptive with staff before consuming more duty-free booze and vaping on the aircraft.
