Roxy Jacenko agrees to buy her son $863,000 Audemars Piguet watch

Talk about a silver spoon.
Socialite Roxy Jacenko is making waves on social media after agreeing to splash out a huge sum of money to buy her son a luxury watch.

The Sydney businesswoman, who founded public relations firm Sweaty Betty PR, has spent the summer travelling with her two children Pixie and Hunter.

Her kids have been quite successful in their own right, with Pixie Curtis venturing into the business world with the company Pixie’s Fidgets. However, the youngster recently announced she was “semi-retiring” in preparation to start high school.

The children are used to the high life, with Pixie enjoying an extravagant $40,000 11th birthday party. She’s also the owner of a $270,000 Mercedes Benz Gl.

Jacenko is known for engaging in edgy banter with her children on social media, with Pixie mocking her famous mum as being “dumb a**” and “stupid” while demanding presents.

Now Hunter is joining in, with her son requesting she buy him an astonishingly expensive timepiece.

In an exchange of WhatsApp messages shared by Jacenko on Instagram, the youngster wasn’t shy about requesting the top-end item.

“I miss you,” Jacenko told the nine-year-old.

“Same. Can you buy me presents. And surprise me. Not s*** ones tho. Like cool stuff.”

She responded: “Like what. No problem.”

Hunter then swung high, sending a picture of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar watch, valued at about $863,000. “This please,” he wrote.

That would add to his collection, which already includes a $26,000 diamond Rolex.

He has expensive taste, with his 2023 Christmas wish list including perfumes worth nearly $700, Yahoo! News reports.

Although she nominally agreed to his request, obtaining one may be another story.

The rare Swiss wristwatch is not easy to get as it is sought after by celebrities, with Travis Scott and Ed Sheeran among the proud owners.

Jacenko, 43, recently enjoyed a stay at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in Thailand then stopped in at Singapore before arriving home in Sydney this week.

She revealed she would be collecting high-end jewellery on her return including a claw-set diamond necklace custom-made by Nicholas Haywood, according to the Daily Mail.

She excitedly shared a post on Instagram writing, “and my dream necklace is ready for collection. Nicholas Haywood Jewellery you have outdone yourself! Can’t wait to get back to Australia to pick it up.”

Jacenko is in the process of moving to Singapore with her husband, former investment banker Oliver Curtis, who served a one-year jail sentence in NSW for insider trading.
