NSW Urgent search for missing Saurab Pun, Mabindra Pun on school trip to Australia


An urgent search is under way for two missing teenagers who vanished while on a school trip to Australia.

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find Saurab Pun and Mabindra Pun, both 14, who were last seen in different locations in Sydney on separate dates.

Mabindra was last seen leaving a property on Rawson Place in Haymarket, Sydney about noon on Sunday.

When he couldn’t be contacted or located, officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified and began inquiries into his whereabouts.

Similarly, Saurab was last seen at Sydney International Airport about 6.30pm on Tuesday.

“Police hold concerns for welfare as he was visiting Australia on a school trip,” NSW Police said in a statement.

Mabindra is described as being of Indian subcontinental appearance, about 140cm tall and of thin build with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a navy shirt and black pants, with black and white sneakers.

Saurab is of similar appearance but is about 155cm tall.

He was wearing a black T-shirt and shorts with black and grey shoes when he disappeared.
