A woman whose car allegedly collided with a man riding an e-bike was a lingerie clad sex worker who told police she was travelling between jobs when the horror accident occurred.
Emergency services were called to South Dowling Street, in Surry Hills Sydney’s east, at 3.45am on Saturday after a crash between a Subaru sedan and an e-bike near the light rail intersection with Devonshire Street.
Paramedics treated the cyclist, a 29-year-old man who was riding a Lime e-bike, at the scene before he was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition.
It’s been reported that he e-bike rider had “visible tyre marks on his chest and pelvis” after it the incident.
It’s thought the Subaru has ran over the man after the initial collision.
A taxi driver has provide dashcam footage of the crash to the police, reported The Daily Telegraph.

On Monday, St Vincent’s Hospital has said the man remains in a serious condition.
A woman wearing what appeared to be leather lingerie was seen with police at the crash site.
Cindy Pham, 26, reportedly told police she was a sex worker driving between jobs when the collision took place.
She allegedly returned a positive result on a roadside breath test and was taken to Surry Hills Police Station where she underwent a secondary breath test, returning an alleged reading of 0.095, NSW Police said.
Ms Pham was later transferred to St Vincent’s Hospital to undergo mandatory blood and urine testing.
She has been charged with mid-range drink driving with a court appearance set for March 14. But police have not set down any charges in relation to the crash.
A crime scene was established with specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit attending to examine the scene, but it’s believed the man was found on the road unconscious and sustained injuries believed to be consistent to being run over by a car.
Police said inquiries are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash, and anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
