A former Married At First Sight contestant has revealed that she is engaged after her boyfriend suddenly popped the question while the pair were out for a morning jog.
Ella Ding was running through a park in Sydney with partner Guy Palermo on Saturday when he stepped off the path and quickly got down on one knee, pulling a small box out of his pocket.
The sweet moment was captured on video by loved ones who were waiting nearby.
The couple then shared an embrace before Guy revealed their family and friends were actually hiding close by.
Fellow MAFS star Domenica Calarco, who appeared on the same season as Ella, was among loved ones waiting in the wings to congratulate the happy couple.
Ella appeared to be tearing up as she showed off the ring to her pals, who brought flowers and balloons.
In a subsequent social media post, the 28-year-old MAFS star said: “️The man of my actual dreams proposed to me with my friends and family. I love you. I love us.
“And thank you for choosing me. Everything that we have been through lead us back to each other, it was all worth it.”
Hundreds of people rushed to social media to congratulate Ella and Guy on their engagement.
Former Miss Universe Australia winner Olivia Molly Rogers said: “Aw guys!!!!! Congratulations, such happy news.”
Domenica said: “Witnessing your love yesterday was a highlight of my life. I love you guys so much.”
Former Bachelor contestant Keira McGuire, Steph Claire Smith and Abbie Chatfield also wished the couple congratulations.
Back in October, Ella stunned fans by claiming she had proposed to Guy while the pair sat along the beach front.
“He said yes,” she captioned a set of paparazzi images and a news article.
However, the entire thing turned out to be a publicity stunt with Ella promoting Up Banking, saying she had “popped the question” to open a 2UP joint bank account.
Many people thought Ella’s stunt was hilarious, with one saying; “Congratulations I love this.”
