Geordie Shore star’s shock reveal about Brazilian butt lift surgery

A legend from reality series Geordie Shore has opened up about a botched Brazilian butt lift that “nearly killed” her.

Sophie Kasaei, 34, revealed that she was “in absolute agony” after the procedure went wrong, and had to be hospitalised for a life saving surgery.

Even that operation left her “screaming the hospital down” because her body had been so badly damaged by the BBL, The Sun reported.

In a confessional video the TV personality told followers she had been content with her natural figure until surgeries in Turkey started offering her free BBLs.

She added: “As someone who didn’t really have many curves, I was like this is amazing. I can look like Kim Kardashian.

“My bum wasn’t the best, but looking back now, I wish I’d just got filler or went to the gym.”

Sophie went on to share that she was receiving a lot of attention at the time after making her first appearances on TV.

The former Geordie Shore star was only 24 when she decided to go ahead with the BBL, and now believes her young age influenced the decision.

She continued: “When I arrived in Turkey I then went under the procedure and got the surgery.

“A couple of days later I looked at myself in the mirror and went, ‘Wait. Should I be this bruised? Should I look like this?’

“The holes on my back as well. I looked like a sieve. I’ve just got burns marks all over my back where they went through.”

Sophie was worried after seeing the results of the surgery, but initially thought she just needed to give her body some time to heal.

However, eight weeks later, the situation got even worse.

“I started getting a pain in my left bum cheek,” she grimaced. “I thought, ‘This can’t be right. I am in agony.’

“I was in Mexico at the time, and I actually went to a hospital there. They put me on a drip and started panicking. Everyone was running around.”

When she asked what was wrong, doctors told her there was an abscess growing on her backside – and that if it burst, she would die.

An emotional Sophie continued: “I told them to book me on a flight home because if I’m going to die, I want to die with my family around me.

“So off I was back to Newcastle. I went straight to hospital. I had to stay in there overnight, wake up in the morning and go straight into surgery for them to drain this abscess growing on my bum.

“They drained one litre of puss. It was so traumatic. Getting it packed was the worst pain in the world – I screamed the hospital down.

“It was just hell. I felt ill, I couldn’t walk, my whole leg was numb. I couldn’t even sit on it. It was just absolute agony.”

Even after the wound started to heal Sophie shared that the scarring from the incision made in the hospital was so bad she felt self conscious about wearing a bikini.

She added that she wants fans to be informed about the results these body enhancing surgeries can have.
