Karina Irby labelled ‘sickening’ over Taylor Swift outfit

Women have been left outraged after a popular bikini influencer was labelled “sickening” for her outfit choice at a Taylor Swift concert.

Karina Irby, who is the woman behind swimwear label Moana Bikini, shared a series of images and videos of her enjoying one of Swift’s three-and-a-half hour Sydney shows.

The 33-year-old’s outfit was inspired by Swift’s Reputation album and consisted of a black sequined backless bodysuit that exposed her buttocks with long sleeves and “rep” written across the chest in white.

She finished the look with a black handbag and chunky boots, with Ms Irby having such a spectacular time at the show that she cried.

However, one social media user was less than impressed with Ms Irby’s outfit and took to the comment section to unleash on the popular influencer with a disgusting tirade.

“If you think your outfit is similar to Taylor’s you’re delusional,” the angry commenter began.

“Hers actually have some coverage and are full of boyleg cut – not a fkn (sic) high rise full on g banger Brazilian. You have NO class and no respect and it’s sickening.

“Wear this sh*t on your OnlyFans, not a concert filled with kids.”

The commenter, who Ms Irby revealed was a woman, wasn’t the only one who shamed Irby for her outfit, with another saying: “Wtf is that outfit? Like … why?”

One added: “Look I get it, it’s a concert, it’s a look but at the end of the day, you’re not the celebrity. And kids are there, some cute booty shorts would of went a long way.”

Ms Irby is known for sharing real photos of her body with her 1.1 million followers, and regularly calls out “trolls” who make nasty comments about her figure. This time was no different.

The swimwear designer took to Instagram and said her followers should “never let anyone dim your sparkle”.

“I never would have thought my love and fandom would cause such a stir online. I low key thought you’d all be happy for me having such a lovely experience and sharing it. Ahhh the internet,” she said, sharing a screengrab of the critic’s expletive-ridden comment.

“Taylor and I are the same age. This is more of a concert for adults than children. We grew up quite literally with her. If you’re THAT concerned for ‘the children’ restrain yourself from calling other women ‘pathetic w*****’ online. That would be an amazing start.”

Dozens of people rushed to the comment section the praise Ms Irby, with one pointing out that children are exposed to people wearing far less clothing at the beach.

Another said it was up to parents to set boundaries for their kids and not complete strangers online or in the audience at a concert.

“I’m a mom of 6 and I teach my children that everyone is free to wear what they feel comfortable and happy in. People wear far less at the beach and we’ve somehow survived,” one woman wrote, encouraging Ms Irby to live her best life.

“I simply can’t wrap my head around why people are so affected by you sharing your happiness!? You look incredible,” another shared.

“Whatever happened to women supporting women,” another asked.
