Virgin Australia drops epic sale across its entire network for one day only

Virgin Australia has just dropped a huge sale on its entire network with the cheapest airfare starting from just $35.

The 24-hour Leap Year sale is the airline’s lowest priced seats in years with more than 200,000 fares across its domestic and international routes discounted.

It’s on now until midnight AEST tonight (unless sold out prior) for travel dates between April 1, 2024 and June 30, 2024.

Travellers keen to head Ballina (Byron Bay) from Sydney can do so from just $35 one-way on Economy Lite — the lowest airfare in the sale.

It’s closely followed by the Melbourne to Launceston route from $39 and Sydney to the Sunshine Coast from $55.

If exploring Uluru has been on your bucket-list, now is probably a good time to head over with flights from Brisbane and Melbourne to the historical spot, both starting from $89.

Those wanting to tick off Cairns off their list can head to the hotspot from Brisbane for just $75, or Perth from $129.

Hamilton Island is also another popular destination with flights from Melbourne starting at $99.

On the international front, travellers can head to neighbouring island, Bali, from Adelaide for $385 return, or from Melbourne and Sydney from $439 and $459, respectively.

If a family or friends trip to Fiji is on your radar, you can head over from Sydney for just $469 return, or from Brisbane and Melbourne from $479 and $539, respectively.

The airline also flies to Port Villa in Vanuatu, with prices from $489 from Brisbane, while Apia in Samoa is also discounted with return flights from the same city starting at $555.

The sale fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits with eligible bookings.

The airline also now has Apple Pay available on virginaustralia.com to help with bookings.
