Alen Moradian shooting Bondi carpark: Final arrest over killing of Sydney underworld figure

Police investigating the fatal shooting of notorious Sydney gangland figure Alan Moradian in a carpark have made one final arrest.

Moradian, 48, was killed in a spray of bullets while sitting in his Porsche in the carpark of his Bondi Junction apartment complex on June 27.

The brazen alleged daylight hit sparked a sprawling investigation by police who have arrested seven people, including the alleged shooter.

An eighth and final person was arrested by police at a correctional centre in Clarence on Tuesday and charged with one count of murder.

Police will allege in court the 27-year-old was directly involved in the preparation and planning of the former Comanchero boss’ murder.

The man was remanded into custody to appear before Waverley Local Court on Wednesday.

In September, police charged two men – a 42-year-old and a 31-year-old – over Moradian’s killing.

Police allege the holder man instigated the fatal shooting, while the younger helped co-ordinate the alleged hit.

A further five people have also since been charged over their alleged roles in the killing.

All seven cases remain before the courts and no pleas have been entered.
