Kylie Jenner goes pantless in campaign for shoe designer Sam Edelman

Kylie Jenner has put her stamp of approval on the exposed briefs trend in a new campaign.

The reality star and businesswoman appeared in glossy black heels and not much else in a series of photos for shoe designer Sam Edelman, in honour of the label’s 20th anniversary.

“This campaign epitomised that fashion is more than just something to wear, it is a source of power,” Jenner said of the campaign, which was photographed by Chris Colls.

“I loved the way each pair (of shoes) fit me flawlessly and instilled a sense of confidence and beauty. I’m honoured to be an ambassador for the Sam Edelman brand, especially during their 20th anniversary which celebrates remarkable craftsmanship and a commitment to champion the power of people through footwear.”

In the black-and-white images, Jenner poses in a variety of black undergarments along with the brand’s shoes, with her hair cut into a short bob.

Edelman, who co-founded the eponymous company in 2004 with his wife, Libby, said in a statement that Jenner “is the complete embodiment of the modern woman – an incredible mother, daughter, sister, friend and entrepreneur”.

“Having her as our brand’s face for this milestone year is a true testament to the incredible fashion and momentum we plan to bring to our customers, not just this year but for many more to come,” he said.

Jenner, who late last year launched her own fashion label, Khy, told Elle that she chooses “to collaborate with brands that align with my personal style and values”.

“Sam Edelman’s commitment to quality, style, and inclusivity made it a natural choice,” she told the outlet.

“It’s about finding partnerships that feel authentic and inspiring.”

The 26-year-old last week spoke to The New York Times about her evolving style – which some have attributed to her relationship with actor Timothee Chalamet.

Jenner shut down speculation it had anything to do with him – instead chalking her changing look up to motherhood and growing older.

“I don’t have this thick mane (of hair) down to my butt, I don’t have lash extensions, I don’t have these long claws,” she said, nothing that she is “stripping down a little bit”.

“It takes me a while after I have a baby to feel like myself again. Then you get your body back, and you’re like, ‘Wait, the trends have changed’.”
