A man has died after being bitten by a highly venomous snake in North Queensland.
Paramedics were called out to the Deeragun, Townsville home at 3.30pm on Tuesday after a man was bitten by what is believed to be an eastern brown snake.
The man was taken in a critical condition to hospital.
However, he later died.
