Australian Olympic and Paralympics swim team unveils 2024 Paris Olympic Games uniform


The Australian Olympic and Paralympics swim team have unveiled what they’ll be donning in the pool as they attempt to bring home the gold at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The latest green and gold aquatic uniforms were designed in collaboration between sports performance brand Speedo and the Australian Olympic Committee.

The uniforms were on full display in Brisbane on Wednesday.

Swimmers Ariarne Titmus, Chelsea Gubecka and Elijah Winnington were joined by their fellow athletes, including diver Maddi Keeney and water polo player Gabi Palm, who wore their new uniforms with pride.

Australia’s most decorated Olympian Emma McKeon said she was excited to see the Olympic uniforms, which included the Speedo’s Fastskin LZR Intent 2.0 and LZR Valor 2.0 swimsuits.

“The Speedo LZR Intent 2.0 is very flexible and is firm in the right spots,” McKeon said.

“I feel like I can really move and it seems like the water is not sticking to the suit, it really glides off.

“This is the best racing suit in the world, it feels fast and I can’t wait to wear it.”

The most nanticipated event of the sporting calendar is set get underway in France from July 26.

It comes three weeks after the rest of the Australian Olympic team uniforms were unveiled for the world in Sydney.

The Australian team uniform features two prints designed by First Nations artist and 2008.

More than 460 athletes are expected to represent Australia in 30 sports at the Olympic Games in July.
