A feminist activist and mummy blogger has been praised over her efforts to warn a woman after discovering her ex-husband’s horrifying plans.
Constance Hall posed as a man named Adam to gain access to “toxic men’s groups” in Australia for podcast research.
She soon discovered a man asking for advice on “how to screw over” his ex wife as payback for breaking up with him.
“He said she didn’t know but he still had her house keys and that he had to be clever because he was in the family court system,” Hall revealed.
Responses varied with suggestions such as urinating in her underwear drawer, to which the man said he would take it a step further and defecate. Another suggested getting the woman to go away for the weekend and change the locks on the woman’s home.
“I got really invested. I had to find her and warn her,” Hall said, adding the man’s Facebook profile was pretty locked down but she was able to track down the woman through various tagged photos.
“I sent her a DM with all the screenshots, all from the burner account and signed it ‘a woman who’s done with men’s sh*t’,” Hall said.
“For the next week I checked to see if she had seen the message non stop, but it was stuck in others. I even friend requested her to get her attention. And in the end I moved on.”
However, after months of not using the burner account, she decided to check it and saw a direct message from the other woman eight months after Hall sent the initial message.
“And all it said was ‘I can’t tell you how much this has helped me. I am tired of men’s s**t too. He’s made my life hell, all while playing innocent in the courts. Thank you’,” Hall revealed.
“And the matriarchy strikes again.”
Many social media users praised Hall for her actions.
“Bloody brilliant. And a timely reminder ladies to always change your locks if you find yourself in this unfortunate situation. It doesn’t always work but it could help,” one said.
Another added: “Now this is girl code at its finest.”
“Girl. Yes. The system is abhorrent. It supports abusive behaviour. Good on you,” one added.
