Minibus rolls at Colo Heights injuring seven people


Five children and two adults were taken to hospital after a minibus they were travelling in rolled about 100km northwest of Sydney.

Emergency services rushed to the crash which happened about 9am on Saturday along Putty Road at Colo Heights.

Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended the scene and found a mini bus with two adults, aged 40 and 49, and five children, aged between 5 and 13, had rolled.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 49-year-old man for a suspected broken arm and a 13-year-old girl for a laceration to her shoulder. Both were flown to Westmead Hospital.

A 40-year-old woman, a girl and three boys, were taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Hospital via road for assessment.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the seven patients were all in a stable condition when they left the scene.
