Bunnings urgently recalls Roundup F weedkiller fast ready-to-use herbicide

Bunnings stores across Australia have urgently recalled a popular gardening essential for fear of a “serious” health hazard.

Roundup F weedkiller fast ready-to-use herbicide (5 litres) has been recalled from all Bunnings stores, as it can cause “serious eye irritation” to consumers.

There is a fault in the packaging, with the potential to expose consumers to the contents, Product Safety Australia has advised.

The batch numbers that have been recalled are AAC2B5550, AAC2E5860, AAC2F5973 and AAC2G6035.

The recalled herbicide was sold at Bunnings stores across Australia between March 1, 2022, and September 6, 2022.

“Due to packaging damage, there is a risk that the user may be exposed to the contents of the product,” Product Safety Australia said in a statement.

“Exposure to the product may cause serious eye irritation.

“Consumers should stop using the affected product immediately.
