JSHealth Vitamins detox + debloat: Product recall over health warning

A popular women’s health vitamin sold nationally has been recalled after the label did not contain health warnings.

JSHealth Vitamins detox + debloat vitamins have been issued an urgent recall by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

The tablets contain fennel seed extract that may not be safe for pregnant women or children.

However, the bottle does not contain the appropriate labelling required to warn against consumption by these groups of people.

“This medicine should not be taken by women who are pregnant, likely to become pregnant or are breastfeeding or children under 12 years of age,” a statement from the ACCC read.

The recall applies to batches of the product sold over the last two years between November 2020 and October 2022.

The affected batch numbers include: B23434, B23441, B23462, B23463, B23485, B211091, B211111, B211161, B211231 and B211341.

Anyone who has purchased a bottle of the vitamins is urged to check the batch number.

Consumers should return their affected bottle to the place of purchase to receive a refund or, if purchased online, visit https://www.danddlabelrecall.com.au/ to process the recall and receive a refund.
