A Bunnings worker has been widely celebrated after he was captured in a heartwarming interaction with an elderly customer.
The employee, who at the time was on shift at Rothwell Bunnings in Queensland’s Moreton Bay Region, was applauded on Thursday for his kind act.
He was spotted slowly guiding an elderly woman across the road towards her car while having a “lovely conversation”.
The sweet moment was later shared to social media where it has since attracted a huge reaction.
“I wanted to share a photo that makes my heart sing,” the woman behind the post to Facebook wrote.
“A worker from Bunnings at Rothwell accompanying an older lady to her car. They were having a lovely conversation and he didn’t seem to mind that it took her a bit longer.”
She went on to congratulate the worker on the kindness he displayed.
“Well done to this young man for his kindness and compassion, he should be very proud of the person that he is.
“I would also like to say to Bunnings Warehouse Australia that this staff member’s a superstar and should be acknowledged because his humanity and kindness also reflects well on Bunnings.”
Dozens of others agreed and praised the man in comments to the post.
