Mum speaks after son busted having sex in plane toilet on flight to Ibiza

A mortified mum has told of her shock after her son’s mile-high club antics went viral.

Piers Sawyer romped with the unnamed woman in a toilet on his 23rd birthday as they jetted to Ibiza.

Mum Elaine told The Sun her son had only just met the girl at the airport before boarding the easyJet flight.

A steward was filmed catching them in the act, with passengers cheering as the toilet door swung open.

Elaine, 51, was left stunned when friends started sending her the footage.

She said: “I was watching Loose Women and they were talking about it on there, and some of Piers’s friends started sending me the clip.

“It’s not something a mum wants to see.

“Piers doesn’t want to talk about it. He probably just wants to forget it.

“You’re aware these things are going to happen at the holiday destination but you don’t expect it to happen on the flight.

“But he’s a 23-year-old single lad on his birthday, going to Ibiza. It’s a party plane.

“You just don’t think about stuff sometimes. Yes it’s embarrassing but I don’t think they were doing anyone any harm.”

Elaine, speaking from the family’s two-bedroom flat in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, added: “I don’t think he knew her.

“They were all just having a good time in the airport and then this happened.

“The air steward shouldn’t have just opened the door. The whole flight was egging him on and even he was laughing.”

Piers, who services cars at an Audi dealership, flew to Ibiza from Luton with pals last Friday and landed home on Tuesday.

Footage of his romp has been viewed millions of times on social media. A woman filming it was heard telling a friend: “I got a*** and everything.”

A second clip showed the couple with sheepish grins as passengers clap and cheer.

The crew alerted the flight deck, who radioed for cops to meet them on landing in Ibiza early on Saturday.

There is no law against romping on planes but it is illegal to have sex in toilets accessible to the public.

Spanish cops last night said they had no record of the incident.
