Kmart fans are rushing into store in a bid to get their hands on an advent calendar inspired by the Aussie television show Bluey.
Videos have cropped up on social media of the Bluey S7 Surprise Pack, which is currently retailing in Kmart stores for $29.
The advent calendar has 24 surprises behind 24 different windows, including figurines of Bluey and her little sister Bingo, with the pair donning their favourite Christmas jumpers.
In addition to the figurines of the youngest members of the Heeler family, there are also 16 accessories and six different stickers to be revealed.
There is also a mini Christmas tree, which can be the centrepiece of the items found in the advent calendar.
A Kmart spokesperson said the item had been a popular choice, as it was the first time Bluey had featured in the department store’s advent calendar range.
“As holiday shopping continues to ramp up, the Bluey S7 Surprise Pack has been a very popular choice among our community,” a Kmart spokesperson told news.com.au.
“Featuring characters from the popular children’s TV show, this advent calendar adds an element of familiarity and fun to the Christmas countdown, making each day’s surprise more exciting for young fans of the show.
“While this is the first time Bluey has been featured in Kmart’s advent calendars, our Bluey range continues to be a winner among the whole family.”
Social media users have been excited to get their hands on the item.
“I’m so excited I got it for my for kid,” one social media user said.
Another said: “Parents of Bluey fans, Kmart now has Bluey advent calendar’s with figurines inside.”
One said, “LOL why’s it got the black thing on it” before another explained it was a security measure and it must be a “hot item”.
