Broadmeadows: Four people found dead in Melbourne’s north

Four people have been found dead at a home in Melbourne’s north.

Emergency services were called to a house in Broadmeadows about 2am Tuesday.

Two men, a woman and a teenage boy were found dead inside the property.

As reported by Today, three people aged between 70 to 40 years of age, plus a 17-year-old boy were found dead in the Broadmeadows home.

Speaking to the program, Corey, who is the uncle of the teenager, said he went to visit the home in the early hours of Tuesday, and saw his nephew on the ground.

He then smashed the window of the unit to get into the home, where he found the bodies.

While he believed they died of a drug overdose, police have not confirmed this and say they are still investigating.

“I’ve come home to find family members in the house deceased and just tortured me, shocked me,” said Corey.

“It’s really, really got to me.”

Speaking to Sunrise, he shared his love for his young nephew.

“He’s my nephew. He looks up to his uncle. Me being there is ultimately the best thing, you know, I’ve come home to find him gone. He was a kid. 17 years old. I wouldn’t know what’s caused this,” he said.
