CCTV footage has revealed how five lions managed to escape their enclosure at a popular zoo in NSW last month.
On Thursday, the footage of the Taronga Zoo lions was released, showing how the big cats managed to fool zookeepers and head out to explore the rest of the zoo.
Four lion cubs – Luzuko, Zuri, Khar and Malika – along with adult male lion Ato are seen looking at the fence on the day of their escape in November.
One cheeky cub managed to squeeze under, with Ato and the others following.
