Woolworths customer scores $675 chocolate bill for 15 cents

A woman has revealed how she scored $675 of chocolate at Woolworths for just 15 cents.

The TikTok user, who goes by @aine.cimaabella, said she had scored the likes of Cadbury Favourites, Roses, Lindt Les Grandes, Ferrero Rocher and Guylian chocolate since January.

Aine said she was buying the chocolate to take back to friends and family in the Philippines.

She revealed that she kept an eye out for sales when it came to the chocolate brands, and ended up getting them between half price to 70 per cent off.

But, that still left her with a $300 bill on her grocery shop.

She said the reason she got it down to just 15 cents was by using her Woolworths Everyday Rewards card.

Aine said for every 2000 rewards points earned, customers are awarded $10, which she collected until she had $320 to spend on the chocolates.

She advised shoppers to never miss an opportunity to scan their Woolworths Everyday Rewards card.

She added that shoppers should also activate their boosters every week to guarantee success.

Aine captioned the video “Tita hacks” – Tita meaning Aunt in the Philippines.

She added that she had checked all the expiry dates on the chocolate.

Social media users were in awe of the young woman’s savvyness when it came to lowering the grocery bill.

“Am I the only one that thought if you don’t use the $10 off, it’ll be cancelled,” one asked.

Another said: “I just keep rolling my money over every year. Want to know how high you can get before they force you to spend them.”

One added: “I only had $500 saved for Xmas but it did help us a lot with getting groceries ☺️now I’m back to saving again for next year.”
