A man wielding a pole has gone on a rampage in the middle of a busy Perth intersection, damaging up to six cars as motorists swerved to avoid the attacker.
Passengers in a passing car filmed the incident on the West Coast Highway in the northern coastal suburb of Scarborough, with the footage going viral on social media overnight.
The man — who was wearing a black singlet, tracksuit pants, sunglasses and sported a mullet — was initially seen harassing a car at a busy intersection before turning his attention to a huge line of vehicles at the lights.
He raised his arms as cars accelerated away.
A grey SUV was seen being struck by the man, with the impact being heard from afar.
WA Police are investigating the incident.
